A groundbreaking ceremony for the IBIS hotel and the construction of its capsule were held in the Presidential Park in Kyzylorda with the special participation of the regional governor Nurlybek Nalibayev, deputies of the Senate and Majilis of the Parliament Ruslan Rustemov, Murat Abenov, Markhabat Zhaimbetov, Murat Ergeshbayev, maslikhat deputies, representatives of the intelligentsia, and elders.The head of the region congratulated the gathered public on the start of the construction of the new facility.
"With the support of our President and the Government, the budget of our region is increasing year by year, the size of the development budget has increased by 4.3 times. A favorable investment climate has been formed in our region, and new large investment projects are being implemented.
In 2022-2024, about 1 trillion. 600 billion tenge will be invested in the regional economy, and in 2025 - more than 750 billion tenge. The volume of investment increased by 233 percent compared to 2021. The share of private investment was 70 percent.
In order to diversify the economy, 48 investment projects worth about 1 trillion. 900 billion tenge will be implemented in the next three years, creating 10,308 new jobs. This year, 14 major projects worth 753 billion. 300 million tenge are being built. I am confident that the hotel, which will be built in accordance with modern requirements, will become a center for receiving foreign and domestic tourists and our guests, strengthening business ties, - said Nurlybek Mashbekovich.
